Rise in cement sales and constant expenses leads to 26.52% rise in net profit of Shivam Cements in Q3; EPS stands at Rs 33.03

Shivam Cement Limited (SHIVM) has published its third-quarter report of the fiscal year 2077/2078 with an increase in net profit by 26.52%. The Net Profit of the company increased to Rs. 1.09 arba in Q3, 2077/2078 from Rs. 86.15 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The revenue from operation (core business revenue) of the company has increased by 3.83% in the third quarter which stood at Rs. 7.35 Arba from 7.08 Arba from the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, the company has been able to manage its operating expenses which has given them the edge to retain more of its profits.
As per the third-quarter report published today, the company has an investment in subsidiaries of Rs. 3.86 Arba. The liquidity ratio is 1.48%.
The paid-up capital of the company remained at Rs. 4.40 Arba with 4.12 Arba as retained earnings. The company has Rs 95.62 crores as a share premium.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs. 33.03 and net worth per share at Rs. 215.38. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 43.81 times.
