Release of Budget for Office under MoALD Following Cancellation Decision

The government has decided to release the budget for the office under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, which had initially been slated for cancellation.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development has clarified that this decision was made to ensure that the office's operations remain unaffected during the transitional phase preceding its merger and eventual cancellation.

Agriculture Minister Dr. Bedu Ram Bhusal conveyed this information during a press conference held on Sunday, marking his 5-month tenure in office.

This decision was reached in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, addressing the financial challenges faced by the affected offices, which had been operating on a zero budget following the budget announcement.
