On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 5.98 points or 0.39% to close at 1534.03 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1540.02 points, the local bourse went up to 1571.75 points in the first trading hour of the day and was seen in the downward trend. 231,318 units shares of Mission Development Bank Promoter shares (MIDBLP) and 101,454 unit shares of Nabil Balance Fund-1 (NBF1) were traded most today. Everest Bank Limited and Shikhar Insurance Company Limited have the highest turnover of Rs 12.95 crore and Rs 5.95 crore respectively today. NB Insurance Company Limited (NBIL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 99.28 crore where more than 16.07 lakh units shares were traded through 6,230 transactions.
