Recently NEPSE-Listed NRM Records Improvements Across Financial Indicators in Q4

Nepal Republic Media Limited (NRM) has published its fourth-quarter report for the recently concluded financial year 2079-80 with Rs. 13.24 lakhs in Net Profits as of the last quarter of the FY as opposed to losing Rs. 4.82 crores as of the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year 2078-79.

The media company has improved its revenue by 28.36 percent, totaling Rs. 26.01 crores as of Q4 of FY 2079-80 compared to the corresponding quarter of FY 2078-79.

However, the administrative expenses of the company have increased by 23.11 percent and amount to Rs. 7.85 crores until Q4 of the recently concluded financial year. In addition, the selling and distribution expenses of the company have also increased by 8.80 percent and totaled to Rs. 43.34 lakhs until Q4.

With an improvement in Net profits, the Earnings per Share (EPS) of the company has improved to stand at Rs. 0.14, which is still low.

Similarly, the Net worth per Share of the company stands at Rs. 88.53 until Q4 of FY 2079-80.

Earlier, Nepal Republic Media Limited had issued 35,25,930 units worth Rs 35.25 crores as Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public (Jestha 26-30, 2080). Subsequently, the unit shares were listed in NEPSE and became freely tradable from Shrawan 21, 2080.

The issued capital of the company is Rs. 96.75 crores of which 44.99% i.e. 43,53,000 unit shares worth Rs. 43.53 crores were set aside to the general public of which; 10% i.e. 4,35,300 units were issued to the Nepalese citizens working abroad, whereas 4% i.e 174,120 units were set aside for the employees of the company, and 5% of the total offered shares i.e. 217,650 units were set aside for the mutual funds. The remaining 35,25,930 units were for the general public.
