Rastriya Banijya Bank 11th AGM successfully conducted; approved merger with NIDC Dev Bank

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has successfully conducted its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Baisakh 26, 2074. The AGM was held at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg.
As per the press released published yesterday, the AGM has approved the agenda of merger with NIDC Development Bank Limited and financial highlights of fiscal year 2072/73.
Dr. Rabindra Prasad Pandey, Chairman of the bank has highlighted the financials of the bank and aims to make the bank as number 1 bank of Nepal.
The bank has been providing services from 174 branch office in 68 district of Nepal, 106 ATM outlets, 84 branchless banking system and also providing government transaction from 67 branches. The bank has relocated it 54 branch office. Rastriya Banijya bank has collected deposits of Rs 1.35 kharba and expanded loans of Rs 1.1 kharba in the third quarter of current fiscal year. It has earned Rs 2.7 arba profit in third quarter.
The bank has recently operated RBB Merchant Banking Company Limited and is in process of opening microfinance companies.
