Rairang Hydropower net profits increase to Rs.1.17 Lakhs by the end of Q4; revenue from electricity sale falls to Rs.5.56 Lakhs

Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) has published the unaudited Q4 report for the fiscal year 2075/76.

The company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs.56 Crore. The reserves of the company are at Rs.72.90 Lakh from negative of Rs.52.63 Lakh in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75.

The investments of the company remain unchanged at Rs.70 Lakhs as compared to the same quarter of last fiscal year. The total revenue of the company has decreased from Rs.10.42 Lakh in corresponding quarter to Rs.7.98 Lakh in Q4. Similarly, the income from sale of electricity has fallen from Rs.10.42 Lakh to Rs.5.56 Lakh by 46.64%.

The profit after tax of the company has however increased by 140.60% as of Q4 to stand at Rs.1.17 Lakhs from previous Rs.48.81 thousand in the Q4 of FY 2074/75. This is because the company cut down on its indirect expenses. After adjusting the reserves and surplus from previous year the net profit stands as Rs.72.90 Lakh.

The annualized EPS of the company stands at Rs.1.30 and the net worth per share stands at Rs.101.30 compared with PE ratio of 86.80 times.
