Rain Water Harvesting system installed at Teaching Hospital with support from Bottlers Nepal and Smart Paani

The first Rainwater Harvesting and Ground Water Recharge System, supported by Bottlers Nepal Limited (authorized bottler of The Coca-Cola Company in Nepal) and implemented by Smart Paani Pvt. Ltd., has been launched at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. The handover ceremony was held at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Falgun 14, 2074.In its relentless approach to creating lasting positive impacts on the communities where it serves, The Coca-Cola Company continues to work on water efficiency, water conservation, water replenishment and integrated water resource management. Picture Prof. Dr. Deepak Prakash Mahara,Director, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital said, "We are pleased to have the first RWH and GWR project implemented in our hospital. We are a central referral hospital and we receive a large number of patients daily. This system will definitely help us manage our resources more efficiently.
