Radhi Bidyut (RADHI) Receives Preliminary Approval to Issue 95,35,761 (1 : 147%) Right Shares

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) has also got preliminary approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission to issue 95,35,761 right shares.

The 156th board meeting of the Electricity Regulatory Commission held on 19th Baisakh, 2079 endorsed the proposal of 1:1.475 rights offering worth Rs. 95,35,76,099 on the paid-up capital. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 64,64,04,622. Thus, a total of 95,35,761 shares will be issued.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd is a public company incorporated on 05 Jestha, 2062 (May 19, 2005) as per prevalent Acts of Nepal, with the objective to develop and invest in hydropower projects. It has currently developed 4.4 MW Radhi Small Hydropower Project in Lamjung district and owns the project license.
