Public Issue decreased in the FY 2074/75; See the actual data

There has been a huge fall in the public issue in the fiscal year 2074/75. The public issuance (IPO/FPO/Right/Debentures) has seen a fall of 21% in the fiscal year 2074/75 when compared with the fiscal year 2073/74. In the fiscal year 2073/74 public issue worth Rs 67.37 arba while in the fiscal year 2074/75 public issue worth Rs 53.22 arba was made.
In the fiscal year 2073/74 and 2074/75, IPO of 21 companies were issued in each year. However, the IPO issue made in the FY 2073/74 were worth Rs 9.50 arba and the IPO issue made in the FY 2074/75 were worth Rs 8.30 arba.
1 debenture worth Rs 3 arba was issued in the FY 2074/75 whereas no debenture was issued in the FY 2073/74.
The difference in the amount of public issue has been mainly caused due to the difference in the issuance of right shares. In the FY 2073/74, right shares of 76 companies worth Rs 45.64 arba was floated whereas in the FY 2074/75, right shares of 55 companies worth Rs 25.70 arba was floated in the stock market.
The fiscal year 2074/75 has seen increase in the issue of Further Public Offering (FPO) as the FPO of 5 companies worth Rs 11.42 arba was issued in the year whereas FPO of only 4 companies worth Rs 7.98 arba was issued in the FY 2073/74.
There has been seen a slight increment in the issue of mutual funds as 4 mutual fund worth Rs 4.25 arba were floated in the FY 2073/74 while 4 mutual fund worth Rs 4.80 arba were floated in FY 2074/75.
