Prudential Insurance reports satisfactory increment in Net Profit in Q3; Look at the major highlights

Prudential Insurance Company Limited (PICL) has published its third-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with a satisfactory increase in Net Profit by 40.50%. The company’s profit has increased from Rs. 9.06 crores to Rs. 12.73 crores in this quarter.
As per the unaudited report for the third quarter published today, PICL has a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.02 Arba with a reserve and surplus of Rs. 26.14 crores. The company has Rs. 60.05 crores in the insurance fund.
The net earnings from the premium increased by 60.21% to Rs. 48.45 crores till Q3, 2077/2078 from Rs. 30.24 crores in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year. The company has earned Rs. 3.61 crores from investments.
The company’s Net claim payment decreased by 19.10% to Rs. 16.45 crores in Q3 of FY 2077/2078. Till this quarter, the company has issued 127,473 policies.
Prudential Insurance’s EPS stands at Rs. 16.54 whereas Net worth per share stands at Rs. 189.30 in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2077/2078
