Provincial Level Zoo To Be Established in Attariya

The Sudurpashchim Provincial government is set to establish a zoo in Attariya Municipality of Kailali district.

Governor of Sudurpashchim Province Dev Raj Joshi while presenting the provincial budget for the forthcoming financial year 2080-81, stated that plantation will be conducted in Attariya of Kailali to establish a provincial-level zoo.

According to the governor, in coordination with the federal government the site for the zoo will be specified and boundaried and DPR will be prepared to commence construction.

Currently, there is only one central zoo in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur district in Nepal.
