In the school education bill that the government is preparing to register in Parliament, it has been proposed that there will be no Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

Now the school will conduct the examination of Class 10, and the National Examination Board will conduct only Class 12.

Now the school conducts the examination of Class 10, and only the board does it for Class 12; there is no SEE. In the year 1990 B.S., the SLC examination ward was established in Nepal. SLC, which has been in existence for 83 years, was amended by the government in the year 2073 through the eighth amendment of the Education Act.

By changing the level structure of the school, grades 1 to 8 were determined as the basic level, and grades 9 to 12 as the secondary level. After that, the Class 10th exam was made the secondary education exam, and the Class 12th exam was made the final exam of school education.
