Project construction work should be on time: Vice President

Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has made an onsite visit to under-construction Rasuwagadhi Hydropower at Gosaikunda Rural Municipality1 and 2 in Rasuwa district where he urged the Project Chief and other office-bearers for the timely completion of the project.

The 111-megawatt hydropower project is being built by Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company. Around 70 percent of the construction works in the Project have been carried out so far. Vice President took stock about the progress of the hydropower and expressed his satisfaction over the ongoing project.

On the occasion, Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director, Kul Man Ghising and Rasuwagadhi Project Executive Officiating Chief, Chabbi Gaire, briefed VP Pun about the state and progress of the project. VP Pun was accompanied by Nepal Communist Party Rasuwa District Chairman Karnel Tamang among other local leaders and cadres. Pun also visited Gosaikunda, an alpine freshwater pond and pilgrimage site, historical Rasuwagadhi Fort and under-construction Integrated Customs Office
