Progressive Finance Joins Hands with NCHL to Launch Domestic NEPALPAY Card Services

Progressive Finance Limited has partnered with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) by signing an agreement for principal membership in the National Payment Switch – National Card Switch and Domestic Card Scheme (NPS-NCS) under NEPALPAY Card. With this partnership, Progressive Finance will be able to issue and acquire domestic NEPALPAY Cards post the system's commercial rollout.

The initiative aims to enhance the domestic card ecosystem by ensuring transaction interoperability, reducing dependency on international card schemes, and promoting data localization and innovation. NCHL is a leading provider of national payment systems, with over 54 BFIs, numerous PSOs, PSPs, and technical members onboard. Progressive Finance currently operates through 23 branches and 4 extension counters.
