Private sectors' participation must for development: DPM Yadav

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Populations Upendra Yadav said private sectors' participation was imperative for country's prosperity. Partnership between the government and private sector could help realize development and prosperity, he stressed.
At a programme organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry here Wednesday, DPM Yadav said, "It's the government that paves way for economic development. However, governments' efforts alone can not bring prosperity." Government is committed to creating conducive environment for the investment.
According to him, employments could be created and poverty declined with the expansion of industry and trade. On a different note, the DPM Yadav mentioned that he was against the policy for the foreign women marrying Nepalis to wait for seven years to get citizenship. The development in border area must be prioritized, he underscored. He assured that a hospital would be constructed at Sunwal. Even the establishment of a trauma centre could be mulled at highway area. On the occasion, district chairman of the chamber, Keshav Bhandari, demanded the Health Minister to make Prithvi Chandra Hospital of Parasi well equipped and upgrade the health post at Sunwal municipality-8.
