Prime Minister Instructs Reduction in Size of Delegation for UN General Assembly Visit to America

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has instructed to reduce the size of the visiting team to America.

Prachanda is scheduled to visit America on Bhadra 29 to participate in the United Nations General Assembly. During a meeting held on Sunday to discuss the agenda of the visit, concerns were raised regarding the large size of the visiting delegation.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister directed the Chief Secretary to streamline and reduce the size of the tour team. The Prime Minister had made a commitment during the same discussion, and instructions have now been issued to the Chief Secretary to implement this decision.

In addition to this, the visit of the Prime Minister's advisor has been canceled. Initially, the visiting team consisted of 24 individuals, including the Chief Political Advisor, National Security Advisor, and Chief Secretary.

Foreign Minister NP Saud has already departed for the visit. The task at hand is to further reduce the number of team members to make it more compact. The Chief Secretary has indicated that the team will be comprised of 5 members, with detailed specifications to be provided at a later time.
