Price of Gold Spikes Up By Rs. 2,300 in Nepalese Market; Trading Today at Rs. 1,37,900

The cost of the highly coveted yellow metal has increased by Rs. 2,300 per tola today in comparison to yesterday.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price of fine gold is Rs. 1,37,900 per tola, which is a rise of Rs. 2,300 from yesterday's figure of Rs. 1,35,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price for Tejabi gold is now Rs. 1,37,250 per tola, up Rs. 2,300 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,34,950 per tola.

The peak price was recorded on April 19th, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,300 per tola.

Additionally, the cost of silver has risen by Rs. 50 per tola, updating the new price to Rs. 1,735 per tola, an increase from Rs. 1,685 per tola as of yesterday.

As domestic markets continue to climb, international influences remain a key factor. The latest international gold rate stands at $2,353.10 per ounce, and silver is presently priced at $28.38 per ounce in the international market.
