Preparation for Only One Official Trade Union at the Central and Provincial Levels

The government is preparing to establish only one official employee trade union at both the central and state levels. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has included provisions regarding this in the Federal Civil Service Bill.

Amanlal Modi, the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration, has stated that there will be a single official trade union at the central level and another at the provincial level. However, employees are also expressing their desire for a trade union at the local level.

During a press conference held at the ministry on Thursday, the minister emphasized that the government is taking into account the discussions surrounding trade unions as they move forward with this initiative.
