The insurance companies are competing with each other to increase their premium collection. Throughout 2075/76, the non-life insurance companies collected total premium of Rs 25 arba. Similarly, life insurance collected first insurance premium worth Rs 28.93 arba.
In life insurance industry, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has the highest market coverage of 31%. Similarly, in non-life insurance industry, Shikhar Insurance Company Limited has the highest market coverage of 14%.
