Prabhu Select Fund and Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 Unveils NAV Report of Ashad

Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) has also unveiled its NAV Ashad's report. Prabhu Select Fund is Prabhu Capital's first-ever mutual fund scheme. It is a closed-end scheme with a maturity period of 7 years. Since the issue was oversubscribed, the size of the Prabhu Select Fund was extended to 125 million units, which is worth Rs. 1.25 billion, even though the fund had only issued 100 million units initially.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV stands at Rs. 9.82 as of Ashad end, 2079 which was Rs. 9.69 in the previous month.
The scheme which began with a total fund of Rs. 1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 42.38 crores in the listed shares and Rs. 1.54 crores in public issues, right shares, and bonus shares. This scheme has Rs. 46.28 crores in the bank balance. The scheme has Rs. 18.25 crores in fixed deposits and has invested Rs. 6.33 crores in bonds and debentures.
Prabhu Select Fund has posted a net loss of Rs. 1.5 crores in the month of Ashad. Its loss was Rs. 3.06 crores last month.
Similarly, Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-ended 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported a fall in its Net Asset Value (NAV) till the end of Ashad.
As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV has fallen to Rs. 9.79 till the end of Ashad from Rs. 9.80 in the month before that.
The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs. 1 Arba, has invested Rs. 79.22 crores in the shares of listed companies. It has invested Rs. 3.28 crores in non-listed shares as of Ashad's end. Similarly, it has invested Rs. 7.33 crores in debentures.
The fund has reported a net loss of Rs. 13.64 crores till the month of Ashad. In the month before that, the fund saw a net loss of Rs. 13.55 crores.
