Prabhu Bank to make import and export convenient at 7 cross country trade points at Nepal border; opening 7 new counters at upgraded trading points within a week

Prabhu Bank has initiated a process to begin banking operation at 7 different custom points located at the bordering sites between Nepal and India. The agreement to open counters at these recently upgraded custom points was signed between DG of Department of Customs Mr. Toyam Raya and CEO of the bank Mr. Ashok Sherchan amid a program.

The commercial bank is bringing into operation its new counters within a week at Bhadrapur of Jhapa, Koshi Barrage of Sunsari, Thadi of Siraha, Jaleswor of Mahottari, Maheshpur of Nawalparasi, Suthauli of Kapilvastu and Sati of Kailali.

The bank hopes that opening of these counters will aid both the business community for timely disbursement of fund and to government for efficient collection of different duties, as mentioned in the media statement from the bank.
