Prabhu Bank reports 73% rise in net profit in Q2; EPS rises to Rs 25.31 with net worth per share of Rs 168.03

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) has published unaudited financial report for the second quarter of the FY 2075/76 with a massive 73.32% rise in the net profit.
As per the NFRS based report published today, the net profit of the bank stands at Rs 1.04 arba with free profit of Rs 1.08 arba.
In the second quarter of the current fiscal year the deposits amounted to Rs 1.04 kharba and floated loans amounted to Rs 88.15 arba.
Net Interest Income has increased by 76.85% to reach Rs 2.15 arba from Rs 1.21 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous FY 2074/75.
The NPL percent has declined to 2.47% from previous 4.12%.
In the second quarter, annualized EPS stands at Rs 25.31 and Net worth per share stands at Rs 168.03.
The bank has recently proposed 5% bonus shares and 5.263% cash dividend for the FY 2074/75.
The decision of the bank is subject to approval from the upcoming AGM and Nepal Rastra Bank.
After the adjustment of 5% bonus shares, the paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 8.64 arba.
