NEPSE Declines By 0.46% to Settle at 2,683.15 level; SYPNL Tops Turnover While Overall Volume Reached Rs. 8.63 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 12.58 points (0.46%) to settle at 2,683.15. This follows a 1.53 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2695.12, touching an intraday high of 2,709.89, while the lowest point was 2,675.16. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.63 Arba, with 18,703,183 shares traded across 322 companies through 92,338 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.05 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.32 Kharba.


SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 59.29 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,128.90.


Kalinchowk Darshan Limited (KDL) led the gainer's list with 10.00% each.


Meanwhile, Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.63%.


Among sectors, the Hotels And Tourism Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.79%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss at 1.09%.
