Prabhu Bank formally begins implementation of Army Welfare technical education subsidy loan scheme; children of former and serving Nepal Army personnel to receive loan facility

As per the agreement between Prabhu Bank and Nepal Army Welfare Fund, the Army Family Technical Education Subsidy Loan service 2075 has come to an effect.

The formal beginning of the scheme was marked by chief of Army Mr. Purna Chandra Thapa and CEO of the bank Mr. Ashok Sherchan amid a program at Army HQ on Chaitra 24, 2075.

Under the agreement, the bank will provide subsidized credit facility of upto Rs 25 lakh to children of former and current Nepal Army Officials to pursue their tertiary education in different technical subjects both inside and outside the nation. The proposed technical subjects include medicine, engineering, ICT, agriculture and animal farming technology.
