PM Oli attends swearing-in ceremony of Indian PM Modi at Rastrapati Bhawan of New Delhi

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has attended the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at Rastrapati Bhawan of New Delhi on Thursday evening.

Leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Modi took the oath of office and secrecy to the post of Prime Minister for second time. Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had departed for India this afternoon to attend the swearing-in ceremony at the invitation of his Indian counterpart. PM Oli was received by India’s Secretary for External Affairs, Bijay Keshav Gokhal, at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

PM Oli was accompanied by his spouse, advisor on foreign affairs and personal secretary. He is scheduled to meet with Indian PM Modi on Friday, according to PM’s Press Advisor, Dr Kundan Aryal. The Prime Minister is returning home tomorrow evening.
