In a significant development, discussions on the budget for the upcoming financial year will commence today in both houses of the Federal Parliament. The House of Representatives' meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am, followed by the National Assembly at 1 pm. Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat will present a proposal to initiate the budget discussion during the meeting, providing a platform for members to express their views.

The agenda for today's session includes Speaker Devraj Ghimire reciting a letter from the President's office, confirming the citizenship status.
