NRB Governor returns

KATHMANDU, FEB 02: 

Central bank governor Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada returned to the country after participating in a conference, ‘Frontier Asia: Economic Transformation and Inclusive Growth’, organised by the International Monetary Fund and JICA in Thailand. The conference had presented working papers on ‘Economic Transformation and Diversification and Fragmentation’ and ‘Trade Cost in Economic Transformation’ under the topic ‘Economic Transformation’. Similarly, working papers were also presented on ‘The Elusive Quest for Inclusive Growth’ and ‘The Role of Financial Deepening’ under the topic ‘Inclusive Growth’. Khatiwada also held talks with the governor of Bank of Thailand Dr Prasarn Trairatvorakul on bilateral relations between Nepal and Thailand.
