NRB directs to open banks and branches on New Year’s Eve

Nepal Rastra Bank has directed to open banks and branches upcoming Saturday. The central bank has to figure out the revenue as per Inland Revenue Department so, the banks are required to open even on Saturday. NRB has also requested to provide clearing facility on the same day. Even Nepal Clearing House will be opened for the same purpose on the same day. Inland Revenue Department had provided the notice to NRB on 26th Chaitra, 2075.
