NOC Slashes Diesel and Kerosene Prices by Rs. 10 per Litre; Petrol Stagnant at Rs. 175 per Litre

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of petroleum products including Diesel and Kerosene.
NOC issue a press release to notify of the revised prices. According to the NOC, the price of Diesel and Kerosene has been reduced to Rs. 155 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of Petrol has not been changed and continues to be sold at Rs. 175 per litre.
The revised prices of Diesel and Kerosene have come into effect from Tuesday mid-night.
Similarly, the price of aviation turbine fuel and liquefied petroleum products too remain unchanged at Rs160 per litre for domestic turbine fuel and $1.350 per litre for aviation turbine fuel and Rs1,800 per LPG cylinder, respectively.
According to NOC, the reductions have been made in line with the deductions made by the Indian Oil Corporation in the new purchase price list.
NOC states that although dues remain to be paid to Indian Oil Corporation and loans to the government, the decision to reduce prices was made by the board in consideration of consumer's interest.
