NMB Bank contributes Rs 1.51 crore to Covid-19 Aid Fund; aims to support initiatives of government to flatten Coronavirus infection curve

NMB Bank has contributed NPR. 1 crore 51 lakhs to the Government’s Covid-19 Aid Fund in its effort to support the response fund, established to undertake initiatives against the spread of the novel Corona virus in the country.

The cheque for the said amount was presented by Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer, NMB Bank  to the Prime Minister’s Office in the presence Ministers and high level dignitaries.

The Bank with the objective to support the communities/individuals most impacted by Covid-19 in the country has also initiated various form of contributions at the branch and province level across the country. Furthermore, it has also tied up with online merchants, wherein 15% of the amount of total purchases made at Sastodeal.com using the Bank’s mobile banking – QR payment, shall be contributed to the Covid-19 Fund.
