NMB Bank commences issuance of EMV chip cards 

NMB Bank Limited has commenced the issuance of chip based DEBIT, CREDIT and   International Dollar Card. As per a statement, "Each time the chip card is used, the transaction data changes using complex algorithm, making it difficult to copy or counterfeit the card. The new chip-enabled cards will improve security of customer transactions when using the card abroad and at home". 'These EMV (Europay, MasterCard, VISA) chip cards are embedded with a microprocessor chip that encrypts transaction information, thus are most secured in today’s world.'- added the statement.
