NIC Asia Growth Fund reports NAV of Rs.9.67 by the end of Bhadra; NAV of NIC Asia Balance Fund stands at Rs.9.99

NIC Asia Growth Fund (NICGF), a closed-end 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by NIC Asia Capital Limited with NIC Asia Bank Limited as the fund sponsor, has published its monthly NAV report with its NAV declining to Rs.9.67 for the month of Bhadra 2076. The NAV stood at Rs.11.11 in the previous month.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.83.52 crore, has invested Rs.51.81 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs.82.64 lakhs on non-listed companies. It has invested Rs.8.35 crore in fixed deposit schemes. This scheme has the investment of Rs.3.73 crore in debenture and has Rs.16.35 crore as bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs.3.21 crore till the month of Bhadra which previously was at profit of Rs.80.10 lakh at the end of Shrawan 2076.

Similarly, NIC Asia Balance Fund (NICBAL), another 10 year mutual fund scheme managed by NIC Asia Capital has published financial highlights for the month of Bhadra in its short period of operation. The NAV for the period was reported at Rs.9.99.

The scheme began with fund size of Rs.75.50 crore including seed capital from fund sponsor. The scheme has invested Rs.4.26 crore in shares of listed companies and Rs.6.28 crore in debentures. Amount invested in fixed deposit stands at Rs.3.50 Crore while the bank balance stands at Rs.62.19 crore.

By the end of Bhadra, the scheme has reported a net loss of Rs.5.52 lakhs.
