NIC Asia Capital Successfully Completes First Phase of Equity Linked Investment Scheme with Oversubscription

NIC Asia Capital Limited, acting as the issuer, sales manager, and scheme manager, completed the first phase of the NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme. The initial phase invited applications for 5 crore units at Rs. 10 per unit from 2082/04/29 to 2082/05/12. A total of 82,828 applicants applied for units worth Rs. 74.03 crore, representing 1.48 times oversubscription. After excluding 91 applicants with incomplete applications, 82,737 applicants received units totaling Rs. 74.017 crore.

Although the first phase targeted 5 crore units, the Securities Board of Nepal approved a total of 10 crore units (Rs. 1 Arba with capital), and allocation was done according to investor demand under the Securities Allocation Directive, 2074. The scheme, being an open-end plan, will allow repurchase, SIP, and mini SIP registration within three months, with regular trading planned. NIC Asia Capital expressed gratitude to the Securities Board, CDS & Clearing, banks, media, and all applicants for their support.
