NIC Asia Bank opens 7 new Branch Offices

NIC Asia Bank Limited has introduced seven new branch offices. The seven new branches of NIC ASIA in different locations have been formally inaugurated today (8th November 2016). The new branches were inaugurated by respective Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry  in different places of the country. The bank’s 70th branch at Battar was inaugurated by Mr. Tara Bahadur Karki, Chairman of Nuwakot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 71st branch at Attaria was inaugurated by Mr. Basanta Rokaya, Chairman of Attaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 72nd branch at Lekhnath was inaugurated by Mr. Laxmi Prasad Tripathi, Chairman of Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 73rd branch at Baglung was inaugurated by Mr. Jayaram Bhari, Chairman of Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 74th branch at Birauta was inaugurated by Mr. Bishow Shanker Palikhe, Chairman of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 75th branch at Kawasoti was inaugurated by Mr. Ohm Prakash Paudel, Chairman of Nawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and 76th branch at Daldale was inaugurated by Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Laxman Risal respectively. Issuing a press statement it stated that NIC ASIA Bank is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, balance-sheet size, customer base, number of branch and ATM network. With the addition of new branches the Bank is providing services to its customers through 76 branches across the country and 69 ATM outlets. On the first quarter of this FY, compared to the same period of last FY, the Bank has achieved recorded growth of 39% on Risk Assets, 34% growth on deposit portfolio and has posted growth of 66% in Net Profit. The Bank maintains Capital Adequacy ratio of 12.55. Recently the bank’s 19th Annual General Meeting has approved for 26% bonus share and then after 15% rights share to its shareholders. The Bank has a strategy to reach every possible market for better service of its customers and there are more branches coming in operation soon.
