NIB's book closure from Ashoj 23; AGM on Kartik 5

Nepal Investment Bank Ltd is closing its shareholders register from Ashoj 23 to convene its annual general meeting (AGM).

Publishing a notice today, the bank stated that its book closure will begin from Ashoj 23 to convene its 28th AGM on Kartik 5. Investors buying the shares of the bank till Ashoj 22 will only be entitled to the dividend of the bank.

This means that the investors will have only three days- today, Ashoj 20 and Ashoj 22---to get hold of the shares due to Dashain holiday.

The bank has already announced 40 percent dividend--25 percent cash and 15 percent bonus share--to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 1.95 arba in the last fiscal year, up from Rs 1.91 arba in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2069/70.
