NIBL Samriddhi Fund and NIBL Pragati Fund NAV increases by meager margin; both fund still at loss

NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIBL Ace Capital Limited, has reported an increase in Net Asset Value (NAV) in Falgun, 2075 end.
According to the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV stands at Rs 10.08 per unit on Falgun, 2075, as compared to Rs 9.91 in Magh, 2075.
The scheme which was started with a total fund of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs 71.23 crore in listed shares, Rs 1.23 crore in public issues, right shares and bonus shares and Rs 5 crore in debentures.
NIBSF1 reported a net loss of Rs 13.49 lakh till the month of Falgun.
The scheme has Rs 9.50 crore in fixed deposits and has Rs 14.83 crore in bank balance.
NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF), a 7 years closed-end mutual fund scheme managed by NIBL Ace Capital Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal Investment Bank, has reported incline in NAV to Rs 7.59 as on Falgun end from Rs 7.44 in last month.
The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs 75 crore, has invested Rs 53.59 crore in listed shares of listed companies and Rs 1.11 crore in public issues, rights shares and bonus shares and as of Falgun end.
NIBLPF reported a net loss of Rs 1.63 crore till the month of Falgun, from net loss of Rs 2.76 crore in last month.
This scheme has no fund in fixed deposits and debenture and has Rs 2.18 crore in bank balance.
