Net profits of Sanima General Insurance increases to Rs.1.82 Crore till second quarter; net insurance premium reaches Rs.7 Crore

Sanima General Insurance Company Limited (SAICL) has registered net profit worth Rs.1.82 Crore in the second quarter report of FY 2076/77. The figure stood at Rs.1.28 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The insurance company has a paid-up capital of Rs.70 Crore with Rs.3.29 Crore in the reserves and Rs.3.87 Crore in the Insurance Fund.

The non-life insurance company has collected Rs.6.99 Crore as the net insurance premium with Rs.3.28 Crore as the reinsurance commission. Similarly, the net claim amount stands at Rs.1.37 Crore by the end of Q2.

The company has issued 21,792 insurance policies within the evaluation period.
