Net profits of Rastriya Beema Sanstha increases to Rs.3.53 Crore till Q2; net premium earnings at Rs.5.69 Arba

Rastriya Beema Sanstha (RBS) has earned a net profit of Rs.3.53 Crore till Q2 of fiscal year 2076/77. The net profit previously was Rs.82.93 Lakhs in the same quarter of FY 2075/76.

As per the unaudited report for the second quarter published today, the net earnings from premium rose to Rs.5.69 Arba in Q2 from Rs.4.40 Arba in the corresponding quarter of last year.

RBS has a paid-up capital of Rs.18.10 Crore with a reserve of Rs.26.21 Crore. Likewise, the company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs.25.96 Arba from Rs.19.20 Arba in the corresponding quarter.

The company has provided claims of Rs.1.36 Arba and paid Rs.7.85 Crore in commission to the agents. The company is 100% owned by the government and yet to float IPO to the general public.
