Net profit of General insurance Company increases to Rs.3.62 Crore till Q4; other indicators post decent growth

General Insurance Company Nepal Limited (GICNL) has published the unaudited Q4 report for the FY 2075/76.

According to the report, the paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs. 70 Crore by the end of the fourth quarter. The company has reserves worth Rs. 2.57 Crore, which was Rs 94.45 lakhs at the corresponding quarter of FY 2074/75.

The insurance fund stands at Rs. 2.85 Crore. The long term investment of the company stands Rs. 5.25 crore in the current quarter. The company earned Rs. 16.45 Crore net from the collection of premium.

Similarly, the Net profits of the company stands at Rs. 3.62 Crore in fourth quarter up from Rs 2.09 crore in Q4 of previous year.

General Insurance has a total of 31 thousand 217 policies currently inforce. The company posted an EPS of Rs. 5.17 and net worth per share of Rs. 107.76.
