NEPSE Witnessed a Moderate loss of 1.03 Points; Intraday Turnover Below 2.5 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, declining by 1.03 points (0.03%) to settle at 2,730.91. This comes after a gain of 1.77 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.
The benchmark index opened at 2737.46 and reached an intraday high of 2,741.20, while the day’s low stood at 2,722.67. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 2.45 Arba, with 5,828,604 shares traded across 339 companies through 43,309 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.57 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.55 Kharba.
Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 8.43 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 667.00.
Ingwa Hydropower Limited (IHL) Led the gainer's list with 8.42%. The Stock closed at Rs. 438.00.
Meanwhile, NIFRA Uraj Rinpatra7%-2085/86 (NIFRAUR85/86) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.26%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,042.10.
Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest fall by 0.31%, while Non Life Insurance recorded highest gain, gaining by 0.69%.
