NEPSE Witnessed a Gain of 23.83 Points; Trading Sector Sees The Highest Among All The Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a gain of 0.81%, or 23.83 points, settling at 2,960.40 points at the close of trading today, following a minimum of 5.23 points in the previous session.

The trading day commenced with the index opening at 2,943.47 points. Throughout the session, the index reached an intraday high of 2,960.40 points and an intraday low of 2,928.34 points before settling at its closing value.

In today's session, a total of 341 scrips were traded through 126,947 transactions, resulting in a substantial volume of 35,822,191 shares. This activity led to an impressive turnover of Rs. 14.83 Arba. The market capitalization for the intraday stood at Rs. 50.18 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was Rs. 17.06 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) emerged as the day's highlight with a turnover of Rs. 67.43 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 905.00.

Similarly, Three Companies hit a positive circuit for today. 

Conversely, First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) faced a decline, by losing 6.56% to close at Rs. 909.20.

In terms of sector indices, all the sectors closed in green today. The "Trading Index" saw the highest gain of 9.12%, while the "Microfinance Index" saw the highest loss of 0.45%.
