NEPSE up to 1063.51 level almost after a year; maximum trading of commercial banks

NEPSE went up by huge points of 23.05 or 2.22 percent today to close at 1063.51 level.

Similarly Sensitive and Float index gained 5.74 points and 1.53 points respectively.

The mutual agreement among the political parties of the country on making 6 federal state in the country led cheers among the investors.

Also the notice from the apex bank of Nepal (NRB) to the BFI’s to submit their plans and strategies of increasing their paid-up capital till Bharda end has attributed in gain of benchmark index as maximum trading were done of commercial banks today.

As of today, shares like EBL, SANIMA, NBB, NICA, SBI, MBL and PRBU were traded maximum and also assisted in increasing the total turnover of the day up to Rs 64.51 crore.

Share Price of commercial banks like NIB, SCB, PCBL, NICA and SBI surged maximum today.


Altogether more than 11 lakh unit shares of 138 companies were traded today worth Rs 64.51 crore.

Among the sub-indices, Banking gained maximum by 35.47 points or 3.74 percent to close at 984.38 level.

However HydroPower and Finance landed in red whereas Hotels, Development, Insurance, Manufacturing and Others were on the gainers side.
