NEPSE Falls 7.37 Points Today as Turnover Reaches NPR 4.27 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit fall today, falling by 7.37 points (0.27%) to close at 2,643.83. This follows a gain of 8.81 points in the previous trading session.

NEPSE remained confined within a tight range of 2,630–2,655 throughout the week. A decisive breakout from this range could push the index toward the next resistance around 2,670, while the near-term support remains around 2,600.

The benchmark index opened at 2,649.116 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,653.48 and a low of 2,638.64 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.27 Arba, with 9,754,403 shares traded across 344 companies through 43,060 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.47 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.36 Kharba.

Agricultural Bond (9 Year) (ADBLB87) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 70.87 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1016.0.

Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) and Mount Everest Power Development Limited (MEPDL) hit the upper circuit with a 15.00% gain.

Meanwhile,Super Khudi Hydropower Limited (SKHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 12.83%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 870.00.

Among sectors, the Others Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.44%, while the Trading Index recorded the highest loss, down 2.57%.
