NEPSE TUMBLES 2.87 POINTS

Following the gain up to the height of 489.02 points, the market once again failed to sustain on the green terrain as the local bourse derailed to the lowest level of 483.46 levels before coming to settle at 483.41 levels. The gradual plummet in the level of Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) from the height of Rs 546 to the lowest level of Rs 526 mainly caused the upset of 2.87 points in the market today.
Altogether there were trade of seven sectors among which only Hotels made rally of 1.14 points whereas rest closed in the red zone. As mentioned above fall in NTC, also caused the Others sector to plunge by 9.39 points. Likewise, Banking lost 2.35 points, Development stumbled by 1.26 points, Finance declined 0.09 points, Hydro fell 5.05 points and Insurance decreased by 0.48 points.
Overall there were trade of 86 scrips among which 20 scrips increased 18 remained intact and 42 scrips decreased. The best performer for the day was, Nirdhan Utthan Bank Ltd. (NBL), closed at Rs 268, with Rs 24 or 9.84% gain. Whereas, Tourism Development Bank Ltd. (TDBL), closed at Rs 81, was the worst performer with Rs 14 or 14.74% loss. Among the shares trading above par, Triveni Bikas Bank Limited (TBBL), closed at Rs 134, was the worst performer with Rs 9 or 6.29% loss.
In case of the highest shares traded among mutual fund, Nabil Balance Fund 1 (NBF1) , closed at Rs 11.02, topped with 215,316 units. In terms of ordinary scrips, Sanima Bank Ltd. (SANIMA), closed at Rs 248, topped with 9,843 units.
In terms of turnover, Nabil Bank Ltd. (NABIL), closed at Rs 1681, topped with 3,800 worth Rs 6,390,375 via 28 transactions; in which Broker no 16 (Primo Securities Pvt. Limited) was the most active Broker with 26.70% stand alone dealing of the NABIL, tallying 2,028 units worth Rs 3,412,842 via 5 transactions which includes 3 matching transactions totaling 949 units worth Rs 1,596,896.
Altogether there were trade of 326,290 units of share via 786 transactions worth Rs 46,705,346; the market capitalization at the day stood at Rs 475,118.08 Millions.
