The Goverment of Nepal has announced a public holiday for Thursday (today) i.e. on 1st Magh on the occasion of "Maghe Sankranti"
Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will remain closed to mark Maghe Sankranti. Regular trading will resume in NEPSE from Sunday (Magh 4, 2082) at 11:00 A.M.
Maghe Sankranti is a significant Nepali festival celebrated on the first day of Magh in the Vikram Sambat calendar, marking the end of the winter solstice in the month of Poush.
