NEPSE to remain close today on auspicious occasion of Sonam Lhosar
Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will remain close today on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar. The market will be closed on the public holiday.
Yesterday, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 0.93 points or 0.07% to close at 1263.75 points.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 61.55 crore where more than 11 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,304 transactions. The turnover has decreased as compared to the last two trading days where turnover stood well above 70 crore. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.09 points and 0.21 points respectively. Except Hydropower and Insurance sector, all the sector landed in red. Hydropower sector went up by 63.26 points and Insurance sector went up by 55.03 points.
