NEPSE suspends the applications of commercial banks' subsidiary applying for broker license; Final decision hanging by thread

On Shrawan 17, 2076 Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) had published a notice calling for applications from commercial banks that wanted to provide broker service via subsidiary company. So far 6 banks had applied and the applications have been suspended.

According to the notice released by NEPSE, they received a letter from Finance Committee on Shrawan 30, 2076 and based on those suggestions the board of NEPSE has decided to suspend the process for now. The final decision will be made based on the final report to be provided by the committee.
