NEPSE Surges By Minimal 0.18% To Close at 2,600.76 Levels; Trading Index Gains Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by a minimal 4.78 points (0.18%) to settle at 2,600.76. This follows a 32.93-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,598.63, touching an intraday high at 2,608.56, while the lowest point was 2,584.47. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.47 Arba, with 17,587,036 shares traded across 325 companies through 70,831 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.33 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.60 Kharba.
Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 52.18 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 826.
Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd (JOSHI) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Among sectors, the Trading registered the highest gain, gaining 2.20%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest loss at 0.61%.
