NEPSE still ends being red; Market closes at 1,191.47 points losing 2.91 points; City Express Finance ends as the top loser again

The stock market ended losing meager of 2.91 points today to close at 1,191.47 points. The NEPSE index that had started at 1,194.38 points ended at 1,191.47 points losing 2.91%.
The total turnover for the day was Rs 16.77 crore which was the outcome of exchange of more than 5.78 lakh unit shares. The shares of 163 listed companies were exchanged through 3,189 transactions.
NMB Bank Limited (NMB) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than Rs 78.78 lakh worth of shares was exchanged. Similarly, Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited (LBBL) was ahead in terms of shares traded as 42,426 unit shares were traded during the day.
The shareholders of Siddhartha equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) earned the most today as the price of the share increased by 0.44 points and the LTP stood at Rs 11.44. Similarly, the shareholders of City Express Finance Limited (CEFL) lost 15 points to record its LTP at Rs 137.
Both the sensitive and float index ended gaining 0.54 points and 0.22 points respectively.
Out of the sub-indices, only Development Bank, Hydropower and Finance sectors landed in the green zone. Development Bank sector gained 3.11 points whereas Life-Insurance sector lost 27.61 points.
