NEPSE Spirals Down 52.11 Points In Last 2 Working Days; All Sectors Close Red

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,025.12 points, as the index fell by 20.31 points or 0.99% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a loss of 31.80 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,044.75. However, the market reached an intraday low of 2,014.00, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,025.12.
During today's trading, a total of 269 scrips were exchanged through 45,167 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 4,838,106, representing a turnover of Rs. 1.67 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.31 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.69 Kharba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 8.41 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 1,969.
Similarly, Sunrise Focused Equity Fund (SFEF) gained the highest 4.00% to close at Rs. 8.32.
Meanwhile, Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) lost the highest 8.06% today.
In terms of sector indices, all sectors closed red. Hydropower Index lost the most with 1.85 percent positive change while Hotel and Tourism Index lost the least 0.01%.
